CHIPTRONIKS  Technical Team has been offering its consultancy services to many service centre . This time we decided to offer some common solutions to Desktop problems free of cost :) to our avid readers .

Q 1 .  Random Shutdown of Computer . SMPS is working nicely and is in good condition . But my Computer often restarts after 10-15 minutes and sometime after 1-2 hour .

Sol : It seems to be the problem of bad power supply .  Check the following steps :

(a) Check the temperature of the processor in the BIOS . If it’s overheating , it might be causing the shutdown.

(b) Run a  thorough memory test using Memtest86+ to check for memory problems .

Q2 . Error message on startup – ” NTLDR is missing .Press [ctrl] +[alt]+[Del] to restart”. How to fix this ?

Sol : You have probably deleted NTLDR , which is part of Windows boot loader which helps boot into the Windows operating system . To fix this , we need to boot into the installation disc and log into the Recovery Console.Once there , use the FIXBOOT and FIXMBR commands to repair the boot loader .

Q3. Blue Screen on startup

Sol : Possibly due to RAM error . Unplug the RAM clean the dust and then put it back . If it doesn’t work ..probably your RAM is dead now
